Yes, we'll see a superbowl champion every year. A superbowl champion is an annual event but a perfect NFL regular season record, well.. the last one was 36 years ago at 14-0, and the one before that if we don't count the AAFC championship was 30 years before that at 11-0. The NFL regular season schedule seems just to get longer and parity grows larger and it is so easy to fall. A perfect regular NFL season is like very thin glass. One false move and it's thousands of pieces of glass on the ground. 16 opponents downed one by one. It could be another 50 years before we see it again. I'd say that makes it a pretty exceptional event, and we just saw it. It just happened before our living eyes

A Perfect Regular Season
Yes, the superbowl is the prize objective. Everyone knows that. I don't think that is being contested in any other blog or thread, but to capture a perfect regular season in the NFL, well, that's just one of the truly great things that a team can accomplish along the way. In fact, it is so remarkable, only the youngest of participants in this forum will likely see it again. Think about that . Most of us in here will probably be dead and gone before it happens again.
